A Promising Future...

Anna and I are so excited! We have officially launched The Gemmini Promise.

What is it?
We "Mini" Your Engagement Ring into an 8mm ring necklace. Choice of 14K White Gold with AAA-grade White Sapphires (4mm stone), or Platinum with VS1 Diamond (4.5mm/0.50ca).

Haven't you ever had moments where you felt you couldn't wear your special ring out - but still wanted it with you? Whether it was because you were traveling, working with your hands or simply that the ring became tight? Well, we felt it was time to find a solution and decided to redefine the concept of "I Do" into a miniature twin ring!

It is sooo darling as a pendant coupled with a delicate chain. I wore mine out today and received several compliments on it! It made me feel so happy :) It was like being recognized for all the hard work put into this project. Not to mention that we girls love to receive compliments.

It reminds me of what Chris Rock once said, "There are only three things women need in life: food, water, and compliments." Sometimes that statement can be very true. ;)

We actually previewed it at the Pasadena Bridal Show last weekend to rave reviews and were so happy to see that people were just as passionate about the Gemmini Promise as we were.

It not only is a great promise present for yourself, but makes a perfect ANNIVERSARY gift as well!

The possibilities are endless - it doesn't have to be limited to your engagement ring. Any ring that is significant to you (such as a grandmother's ring, mother's ring) can be customized.

Just ask! Email us at gemmini@annaselena.com and we will guide you through the simple process.

*And as a special debut promotion, if you order your Gemmini Promise by December 31,2008, you will receive 10% off your order!

The Gemmini Promise...even closer to your heart.

Princess for a Day

This past Sunday Anna Selena was an exhibitor at the Pasadena Bridal Show. It was all abuzz with the excitement of future brides and a host of vendors with many different offerings. We were fortunate enough to be paired with Tom of Fabulous Flowers and I have to admit, I think our combined display was most beautiful! BUT I may be biased :)

Tom truly has an amazing eye and talent for the art of display and flowers - we were able to place one of Anna's stunning tiaras on his glass bowl of flowers and it simply POPPED! There's just something about the colors of nature and sparkling jewels coming together...

Later on, Anna placed the tiara on my head to better display the intricate back drape. It is the tiara redefined - Anna Selena's vision for the bride who wants that alternative edge. I heart this tiara. I looove that the drape also detaches to become a necklace afterwards! These days it's so important to have items that are multi-functional.

I haven't been a bride in 5 years, but attending this show made me want to have another wedding and be one again. However, I was able to have a taste of it with wearing the tiara that day. There really is no other excuse to wear a tiara other than at your wedding or at a bridal show ;) It was fun and the brides-to-be loved it because they were able to see what it looked like on a real person.
Overall, it was quite the successful show. Great displays, flowers, jewelry and people. I hope everyone had a good time.

I know I had a good time- who wouldn't want to be a princess for a day, right?!

San Diego Threadshow

A wonderful designer I met, who was named as one of the most fabulous up and coming designers: Ximena Valero. Ximeno you are such a sweetie! Thank you for Nadine's Photoshoot! She looked so

beautiful I can't wait to see all the photos for the calendar. Thread in SD was breathtaking. The photos I took are of the ocean outside of the Sheraton hotel, where it was held. I never realized how many beautiful women there are in SD. So well put together and elegant. It's so fun going on these trips for my shows, as I meet wonderful people with so many stories to share. People and friends are my inspiration to my work. Through networking and talking about peoples' wants and needs specified in jewelry is my life-long research project.

Nancy Ros, owner of Ha Therapy, was so kind to house Nina and me in her beautiful home. She has a Therapy Salon in her home where she works wonders on people.I can't wait to go back and meet your volleyball students and have a jewelry party in the Holiday Season!

I'm grateful for my family and friends more than ever in this time of near depression and recession. Without friends who push you it's really difficult to get out of your funk; sometimes you have to ask for help and accountability. Try not to think so deeply about the problems, but don't forget about them either. They are there to help you appreciate the simple moments in your life that make you smile...

LA Fashion Corner 9.13.08

The fashion show was a hit. Tera Patrick launched her lingerie line, along with other designers from the City of Angels. The production was put on by LA Fashion Corner. I featured my Coral line, Feather hair pins and various eclectic jewelry for the soul...
